The client is a large South Korea–based corporation operating in the golf simulator and sports technology industry, with a strong global footprint and a long-term focus on innovation and R&D. In late 2022, our client established an R&D Center in Vietnam, requiring a reliable recruitment partner to support both initial setup and long-term expansion. Key requirements include:

  • Recruit technical and non-technical roles across multiple seniority levels, from mid-level to C-level
  • Provide ongoing recruitment support for both the R&D Center and the Business Department in Vietnam

  • Delivering salary benchmarks and hiring trend analysis for IT engineers in Vietnam, aligned with the client’s global compensation framework
  • Advising on role prioritization to support the successful setup of the R&D Center, focusing on positions critical to early-stage delivery and knowledge transfer
  • Supporting workforce structure planning, including team size, role distribution, and seniority mix, to ensure long-term scalability and cost efficiency

3.2. Targeted IT Headhunting Strategy

Reco implemented a targeted IT headhunting approach by assigning dedicated recruitment teams with deep tech-hiring experience. This strategy focused on sourcing and securing:

  • Software engineers at mid to senior levels to form the core development team
